Situated in the Playasol Spa Hotel, just 600 metres from the apartments, the Andalucia buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast every day, with a wide selection of fresh produce prepared in show kitchens. Hot and cold dishes available include salads, appetisers, vegetables, meat and fish dishes. The restaurant has a baby corner with complimentary facilities available for parents’ use, such as a microwave and a refrigerator for baby food. The hotel also caters for those with special dietary requirements (please contact the hotel directly to advise of any such requirements). Please note that a dress code applies in the restaurant. Other food and beverage facilities include a saloon bar and the Al-Andaluz pub. The snack bar, El Pirata, is only open in high season and the Casablanca Beach Club, which is located on the boardwalk that leads to the beach, is also only open during peak season. |

Situated on the Costa de Almería, Roquetas de Mar features many good beaches with superb water sports facilities. There are also tennis, horse riding and golf facilities nearby. The Playaserena golf course is just 400 metres away and there are 2 other excellent golf courses within a 10 km radius. Roquetas de Mar organises a multitude of cultural activities throughout the year, including plays and concerts, which take place in the theatre and auditorium. Roquetas de Mar also has a lighthouse that is currently in service as an exhibition hall and which houses painting or photography exhibitions every 2 weeks. To the south-east of Almeria, 56 km from Roquetas, Cabo de Gata is a naturally beautiful paradise with much to offer scuba divers. Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park has been officially recognised by UNESCO as one of the most beautiful and wild spaces of Andalusia. Tabernas is the only semi-dry desert in Europe and some of the world’s most famous westerns have been filmed there. Parts of the desert have now been developed and converted into Oasys, one the most inventive theme parks in the Mediterranean. |
