A Guarda (70 km) –Traditional coastal town where the harbour is an absolute must, where you will find ‘Tascas’ and wonderful seafood restaurants where you can sample the most succulent lobster. Cíes Islands (14.8 km) – You can take a ferry from Vigo Port (just in front to the hotel), over to the Cíes Islands, one of the major tourist attractions in the south of Galicia. An incomparable area of botanical and zoological interest, declared as a protected Nature Reserve in the 80’s. A set of three privileged small barren islands that have remained unaltered since the Celtic settlers reached their borders. Old town (200 metres) - Made up of narrow, cobbled streets and 18th century houses, small stores and markets craftsmen. Mercado de la Piedra (200 m) - A famous market, where in olden times overseas exotic products were sold, and where you can sample some of the best seafood from the Rias Biaxas. |

From the Airport: Peinador airport (Vigo) - 10 kms away (15 min). You can take a taxi to the hotel approx. EUR 17.00 By Public Transport: Train station (Renfe) - 2 Kms away. Bus station - 2 Kms away. To reach the hotel take a taxi (costs EUR 3 - 5). By Car: -Enter the city from the A-9 via the Avda of Madrid. -When you reach Plaza España, turn left down Gran Via towards Plaza America. -When you reach Plaza America take the second on your right towards Puerto Nautico and you will arrive on C/Canovas del Castillo where the hotel is located. The hotel has parking however it is not suitable for big cars. |
