The stylish, provincially furnished apartments all have full kitchens and are well equipped and set within pleasant gardens overlooking a central swimming pool. Arriving guests gain access to a fully prepared unit with freshly made beds and laundered towels, soap, toilet rolls, bin liners, etc., and every apartment boasts a washing machine, microwave, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. In addition to the on-site swimming pool, guests also have full access to all the facilities at Club Marbella, where you check in. These facilities include: childrens crèche/Miniclub (open during school holidays), childrens games room; pool tables, video games, etc., childrens playground, bowls/petanque ground, fitness centre, squash court, Café Marbella bar/restaurant with regular live entertainment, central swimming area (with both indoor and outdoor pools of varying depth), guest lounge area with library and board games, and a full summer activities and excursions programme. |

Depending on the size of your party, El Porton offers a choice of units, incorporating three bedroom, two bedroom and one bedroom apartments. The three bedroom apartment has a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in each of the other two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and there is also a second full bathroom. The two bedroom apartment has a double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a complete en-suite bathroom and there is also a second bathroom. The one bedroom apartment has two single beds in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the lounge and a complete bathroom. High chairs can be provided upon arrival at no extra charge. Arriving guests gain access to a fully prepared unit with freshly made beds and laundered towels, soap, toilet rolls, bin liners, etc. If arriving late why not pre-order a welcome/food pack which includes milk, water, orange juice, sliced bread, biscuits, bacon, eggs, butter, coffee, tea bags and sugar. The cost is EUR 22 and can be requested by contacting the reservations department prior to arrival. |

There are 2 restaurants within 1km of El Porton. One of which is Miel y Nata, meaning honey and cream. A very popular choice, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Typically Spanish with a very reasonably priced and varied menu, fabulous fresh local meat and fish, watch out for the garlic! Sandwiches, English breakfasts, pizzas and burgers for the kids. An average meal would cost you about EUR 6. Alternatively 2 km away you will find the dozens of restaurants in the main town of Calahonda and Riviera Del Sol. |

El Porton can offer a collection service to and from Malaga Airport. A standard car reccommended for 4 is EUR 45, a stationwagon EUR 54 or a 7 seater people carrier EUR 67. You pay the driver in cash on arrival. You can book this simply by sending the Resort your flight number and arrival time once you have received your confirmation directly from them. Directions to El Porton from Malaga Airport: Turn right onto N340 towards Cadiz, then take the E15/N340 signposted Algeciras/Benalmadena, by-passing Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola. Approx. 12 km beyond Fuengirola, on the right past the Miraflores complex, a petrol station, and the El Zoco Shopping Centre, you will come to Sitio de Calahonda. Turn right next to the Bank Bilbao Vizcaya, go up the hill on the Avenida de España and continue for approx. 800 m. At the second crossroads turn right into Monte Paraiso street, you will find Club Marbella on the right hand side. This is where you will check in for El Porton. You will be directed from here but you want to continue on up Calle Monte Paraiso for approx. 2 km and you will find El Porton on your right hand side at the top of the hill. |
