The cathedral is an obligatory step for pilgrims travelling towards Santiago de Compostela. Historic part of Oviedo (0.6 km) – All of the narrow ancient streets are well preserved and the lack of cars provokes the sensation of having stepped back in time. Every morning there is a market in El Fontán. Also well worth a visit is the Campoamor Theatre, where the Prince of Asturias Awards is held every year. |
