Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (1.6 km) - Real Madrid’s world-famous stadium is open every day for fans to visit this stunning, legendary football ground. Regular tours provide a fascinating insight into the rich history of the football club and allow visitors the opportunity to sit on the players’ bench and visit the trophy room. El Palacio Real (3.5 km) – This Spanish royal palace began as a hunting pavillion and became an alternative residence of the kings of Spain until the death of Alfonso XII, who died in the palace. Francisco Franco lived in the palace after the Spanish Civil War. Since Francos death, the palace has been used as a residence for visiting heads of state. |
