House-Museum Unamuno The rector of the University of Salamanca in 1900 has his home-museum dedicated to perpetuating his memory. His home can be visited as well as the personal library and archive of the writer. University and Collections of the University. Located in one of the patios of the Escuelas Menores the El Cielo de Salamanca forms part of the dome of the old University library. The museum also houses other lithurgical elements from the XVI and XVII centuries. In the old University building, a collection of reptiles are of great paleontologic interest. In the surroundings you can find beautiful landscapes and typical villages in the Peña de Francia, Sierra de Béjar and Arribes del Duero. |
