Lloret has a great fishing tradition and is one of the most important towns on the Costa Brava seafront. It has an interesting historic old town, beautiful crystal clear waters and is renowned for the entertainment and nightlife on offer. Sant Joan castle, dating from the 10th and 11th century is one of the most renowned sights in Lloret and is situated in the mountain that separates the main beach and Fenals beach. From Lloret you can also go on excursions to other towns on the coast such as Tossa de Mar and Blanes. From the bus station you can easily get to the other towns on the coast. |
