All of the rooms have a natural, neutral rock or stone decor. They are Turkish in style and have typically Turkish furnishings. The rooms are either totally carved from the surrounding rock, or a combination of rock and stone walls, some of which are at the end of a comfortable 30-metre tunnel with a tiny natural spring running in a small open canal at the side. You will find the comfort and convenience that you would expect to find at any other hotel, with an added atmosphere of mystery and authenticity. |

By Air: There are regular domestic flights between Istanbul and 2 airports in Cappadocia, the Nevsehir and Kayseri airports. Nevsehir Airport is about 30 minutes away and Kayseri Airport 60 minutes. The hotel provides regular shuttle services from Kayseri Airport (at an additional cost), with different locations considered on request. This unusual hotel is housed within the ancient rock formations of Çavuşin, near Goreme, offering a unique and authentic experience. In the 1950s, the old village of Çavuşin was abandoned due to the heavy erosion of the surrounding area. Now, having been stabilised, The Village Cave Hotel offers 6 rooms and a restaurant amid this stunning natural landscape, with much of it carved out of the rock itself. The present owner of the hotel, Halım Oz, is the grandson of the previous owner and was born in The Village Cave Hotel. Having spent a lifetime in the area, he is able to offer endless information and advice about the Cappadocia area. The hotel therefore offers a number of activities and tours of the region, so that you can get the most from your stay. |
