Stara Poczta is a fine-dining restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, serving traditional Polish and European cuisine. Trattoria Viva offers great Italian dishes, coffees and mouth-watering desserts. It is divided into 2 sections, one of which occupies the restored 19th-century basement. Al fresco dining in the garden is available during the spring-summer season. U Szwejka is a cosy cellar pub adorned with stone walls and original décor items. |

Hotel Galicja occupies a renovated, 19th-century building, surrounded by peaceful greenery. It prides itself on its warm, homely atmosphere, which you can enjoy in the 2 restaurants, as well as the cellar bar. The barbecue hut is a great place for some open-air socialising. The en suite rooms are tastefully and functionally furnished. They come with a range of modern conveniences, including satellite TV, free internet access, work desk and hairdryer. Hotel Galicja also has larger double rooms and apartments, which are located in the oldest wing of the building and offer ultimate comfort. The hotel is located 4 kilometres from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. A number of tours with English-speaking guides are organised. Destinations include Krakow, Wadowice (birthplace of Pope John Paul II) and the Dunajec River Gorge.
