The bathrooms are comfortable and are made with strikingly original local materials, such as lava stone and terracotta, taking on strong characteristics from the Sicilian landscape. The Palazzo Del Sale (Salt Palace) was the residence of a local salt dealer, hence the name. The high ceilings and stone walls are unique and pleasant. The Palazzo Del Sale surely enjoys an original ambiance. Palazzo del Sale is close to the Fountain of Aretusa, to the Maniace Castle and all the most important churches of the city. Enjoy a walk along the Lungomare promenade, which circles the whole island. The hotel may only be available for long stays of 2 or more nights. |
