By Car: - Drive north along the motorway marked by green signs in the direction of Viareggio-Genova. - After 10-15 km it will connect with the A11 motorway Lucca-Firenze. - Exit at Lucca Est (you will have to pay a toll). - Follow the main large road following the signs to the city centre. - You will pass over a fly-over, and 200 metres along you will notice the Walls of Lucca just in front of you. - Continue straight on, with the walls on your right-hand side. - You will notice one of the entrances to the old city, but continue straight on to the second large entrance through the walls, this is called Porta San Donato (in front of a gas station). - Remember to drive along the nearest lane to the sidewalk. - Once inside the walls turn left (on your right theres a small playground). - After 200 metres, turn right into Via Pelleria. - Drive for 100 metres to a small square where you turn right into Via San Tommaso. - Continue straight on for 100 metres, then turn left (theres a wall in front of you). - At the end of the street you are going to be in Via Galli Tassi; the hotel is on the left corner. Please park your car on the right-hand side for a few minutes to drop off your luggage. The friendly staff will help you and the put your car inside the car park. |

Our hotel, which dates from the 12th century, was previously a boarding school and has been restored to its former splendour as an elegant residence in the heart of Lucca. Conveniently located in Luccas monumental district, we are easily reached by way of the main highway exits and by local train transport; the bus station is a mere 2 minutes walk away. We provide a homely historic haven in amongst the ancient architecture. We recommend you start your day with our breakfast buffet of fresh local products. The original structure of the building has been refurbished to the highest of standards. The decor reflects the noble Lucchese style, with the use of antique wood floors in all the bedrooms, fine marble and other local stones in the bathrooms, lobby and common rooms. We offer our elegant and warmly decorated accommodation, designed in the grand style which befits the tranquil surroundings. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
