Villa La Borghetta was originally a watchtower built at the end of the fourteenth century by the Lords of Figline the Conti Franzese della Foresta family. The ruins of the tower are still visible within the structure. It changed hands several times until it became the residence of a branch of the Piccolomini family during the Renaissance period. There is actually a fresco reproducing their coat of arms with the family “moons” above the main entrance. Towards the end of the nineteenth century the Villa was restored and took its present aspect by the liberty-neoclassic style frecoes which characterize it so strongly. After a long period of negligence, the Villa has been elegantly and carefully restored with the aim of giving its guests a taste of the best of Tuscany. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
