Hotel La Bussola has been awarded with the certificate of international standard UNI ISO 14001-04 for the attention paid to the creation of an environmental-friendly atmosphere. From mid June to mid September, on the rocks in front of the hotel a jetty is available with complimentary deck-chair and sun umbrellas for bathing facility Only 200 metres from the hotel there are two beaches. From the harbour there is a boat-service to many other beaches along the coast. |

We have paid particular attention to furnishings and décor which are simple and comfortable. All of our rooms have wonderful majolicas decorated with art by some of the most important ceramic artists of the Amalfi Coast. Air conditioning is operating only in summertime from mid June to mid September. In wintertime the central heating is on from mid December to mid March. |

La Bussola Hotel is in centre of Amalfi on the seaside, few yards from the Cathedral Square, shopping centre and harbour form where every morning several steamers leave to Positano, Capri, Ischia, Naples and Salerno. Always from Amalfi, you can make some organised excursions by bus to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculanum, Neaples, Paestum, Ravello and so on. | |

Travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Salerno. From there to Amalfi a schedule bus service (SITA BUS) almost every hour from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm It takes 70 minutes. In summer time, from Salerno to Amalfi there are also many steamers. They leave from the harbour in front of the railway station. Travelling by car, from Roma you take the highway a2 direction Napoli and from there Salerno. The nearest exit to Amalfi is Vietri sul Mare. 20 Km of beautiful but twisting road on the Amalfi Coast and you are in Amalfi. Our hotel is set right on the Promenade, easy to find. Travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Napoli- Capodichino at 70 Km. From Airport we are able to arrange a taxi transfer. |

Well-positioned, in centre of Amalfi, on the Promenade, along the sea and few yards from the Cathedral Square. The Bussola Hotel dates back to 1900 and was originally a pasta factory. Today our hotel has been lovingly restored and boasts stunning views of Amalfi and the harbour. The hotel is equipped with lifts, air conditioning and welcoming communal areas. There is an excellent restaurant specialised in local cuisine and a bar-café where you can enjoy an aperitif or an after dinner drink. The hotel also boasts a large terrace with wonderful views and a fully equipped solarium overlooking the sea front. |
