Piazza dei Miracoli (5.8 km) - the trade-mark of Pisa; the whole complex looks like delicate lace of small arches, columns, pinnacles, spires and statues, creating a fantastic play of lights and shadows around the dome rising towards the sky. Tower of Pisa (5.8 km) - this very famous work is of Romanesque style, and dates back to the year 1174.
