| HOW TO GET TO GUBBIO BY CAR For those arriving from North there are 2 alternatives: 1) Come off the Bologna-Ancona-Taranto motorway (A14) at junction Fano and carry on in the direction of Roma for 78 km. 2) Come off the Milano-Firenze-Roma motorway (A1) at junction Valdichiana (not Arezzo), take dual carriageway connection to Perugia, then dual carriageway E45 in the direction of Cesena after Perugia. Exit from E45 at Umbertide-Gubbio and carry on in the direction of Gubbio for 25 Km. (if you prefer a more panoramic but also more twisting road exit at Bosco-Gubbio and carry on in the direction of Gubbio for 30 Km.) For those arriving from South there are 2 alternatives: 1) Come off the Milano-Firenze-Roma motorway (A1) at junction Orte, take the dual carriageway E45 in the direction of Cesena after Perugia . Exit from E45 at Umbertide-Gubbio and carry on in the direction of Gubbio for 25 Km. (if you prefer a more panoramic but also more twisting road exit at Bosco-Gubbio and carry on in the direction of Gubbio for 30 Km.) 2) Come off the Bologna-Ancona-Taranto motorway (A14) at junction Chiaravalle-Fabriano and take the dual carriageway in the direction of Fabriano.
