Il Pettirosso lies on a wonderful hill, just 2.5 Km from Siena. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside, outlined against the background of the city itself. Nearby, along the Via Francigena you will find ancient retreats and castles, in a calm atmosphere that brings the spirit back to life. The farmhouse, which is adjacent an ancient little church, has been skilfully refurbished maintaining all the elements that are characteristic of the Tuscan style, and has been finely furnished to allow you to be as comfortable as in your own home. There is a large garden and private parking. Leisure centres (tennis, golf and swimming pool) just 1 Km away. There are four apartments, all provided with lounge, kitchen area, double room, and bathroom with shower. Satellite TV and air conditioning are also provided. |

By Car: From the North or South of Siena: - Take the Aquacalda exit from the Siena ring road (Tangenziale). - At the roundabout, take the first exit along a tree lined road (Via R.Da Capua) which leads in an upwards direction. - At the end of this road, at the stop sign signalling the junction with Via Dante, turn right and proceed along via Dante as far as the junction with Via Petriccio e Belriguardo. - Here, at the point in which you find the sign indicating ‘Montalbuccio’ and ‘Castello di Belcaro’, turn right. - After a few metres you will cross an old bridge (here cars must transit one at a time), and continue downhill, passing under a flyover. - 150 metres up the hill, you will come across the sign for the Pettirosso, in the vicinity of 2 old cypress trees: a further 100 metres and you arrive at the Pettirosso. |
