By Train: As you exit S. Lucia railway station, take vaporetto number 1 (the stop is just outside the station). This takes a scenic route down the Grand Canal before arriving at the Lido after 50 minutes. Alternatively, you can take vaporetto number 51, which makes a quicker, more direct route. Get off at the Lido at Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta. Turn right and walk approximately one kilometre to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take public bus B towards Alberoni and get off at the 3rd stop. By Car: If arriving by car, take a ferryboat from the Tronchetto Area. Ferries make direct routes to the Lido with departures every 40 minutes. By Air: - From Venice Marco Polo airport, you can get an Alilaguna boat leaving every hour. There is a regular boat service to St. Marks Square with daily departures every 5 minutes and every 20 minutes at night. - From Treviso Airport you can take the shuttle service that links Treviso airport with Piazzale Roma in Venice. From here you can take vaporetto number 51 or number 1. The vaporetto N, a nightly service, is also available. |
