The lido offers many private and public beaches besides varoius sport facilities among which a golf court and a swimmingpool. The hotel is close to the beach and in front of the boat station. From here you can reach Venice (S. Marco) in 10 minutes. The boats run to and from Venice night and day. |

Hotel Helvetia is in the Venice Lido, on the Gran Viale (the main street). How to reach the Hotel: From Piazzale Roma or from the railway station (S.Lucia) by public boat throughout all the Canal Grande in 50 minutes, by motorlaunch in half an hour. You can get from Piazzale Roma to the Lido with your own car by ferry-boat leaving from Tronchetto every hour to Lido. From the airport (Marco Polo) there is a boat service which connects the airport with the Lido each hour with a 50 minute trip. |

Hotel Helvetia is situated in the centre of the beautiful island of Lido. The hotel has a big garden where you can have your breakfast during. It is possible to park the car in the hotels private garden (fee required) and to hire a cabin on the hotels private beach. |
