Following the Art Nouveau style, the building where the Don Telmo hotel is located still preserves its old values due to its typical architecture from the 19th century. San Pedro Telmo was the name of the Saint protector of the Portuguese and Spanish navigators, today is a district very turisitic with beautiful hauses because in 1871 was the area were rich aristocrats were living. Later on this hauses was used to receive poor families and European imigrants. The mix of music traditions from all over Europe contribute for the tradicional well know Tango from Argentina.
