Hotel is approximately 10minutes from the downtown (Wenceslas Sguare) by car or 15minutes by public transport. The nearest subway - 1500metres from the hotel - station called Budějovická (line C). The nearest tram station - 1000metres from the hotel - station called Přístaviště. The nearest bus stop station - 400metres from the hotel - station called Zemanka. Other information concerning the public transport in the city will be explained when you check-in. Main Train station - Hotel Monica (5km): We reccommend to use a taxi (e.g. AAA taxi is good). But do not pay more than 300,-CZK (12EUR). It means, discuss the price before you get in the car. To get to the hotel MONICA from Prague Main Train Station by a public transportation is to use: 1) metro: line C - st. Hlavní nádraží (it is situated in the hall of the station and you go the direction „Háje“) to the st. Budějovická (off stop) there you take a bus from the st. Budějovická (take the exit with stairs, not an elevator exit) 2) bus Nr. 124 st. Budějovická to go to the st. Zemanka from Zemanka it is approx. 8 min. by a walk. For using the public trans. you need a 20 crown ticket, which is valid for 75 minutes (it is enough for the way to the hotel). Tickets you can bye at the Train Station in the ticket machine (yellow machines) by inserting coins. Airport Ruzyně-Hotel Monica (25km): We reccommend to use a taxi (e.g. AAA taxi is good). But do not pay more than 700,-CZK (25EUR).It means, discuss the price before you get in the car. How to get to the Hotel Monica from the Prague Airport - Ruzyně: To get to the hotel MONICA from Prague Airport by a public transportation is to use: 1) bus Nr. 119 to go to the station Dejvická there you change bus for metro (underground) and you go by 2) metro: line A - st.
