The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the Old Town of Dresden. Dresden is the world-renowned historical city on the River Elbe, and offers an abundance of culture and history at every turn. The golden equestrian statue has become a symbol of the city. The hotel staff will be happy to provide tips to help make your trip to Dresden even more enjoyable. From Dresden main railway station, take the tramline 7 towards Gorbitz and get off at the Bünaustraße stop – walk a further 50 metres and turn right into the Wernerstraße. The second street on your left from here is the Burgkstraße, where the hotel is situated. Take the S-Bahn local suburban train as far as Bahnhof Mitte, and then take the tramline 2 towards Gorbitz, getting off at the Burgkstraße stop. Cross the street to get to the hotel. If coming by car, take the A4 motorway and exit at Dresden-Altstadt. Then take the B6 road towards the city centre. Follow the green signs (hotel route D) for 1.5 km to get to the hotel. Please note: keep to the right-hand lane on Hauptstraße which leads slightly to the left, and then take a right-turn into the Cossebauder Straße and also into the Lübecker Straße (1.3 km). Hotel route D leading left is then clearly signposted. Drive 400 metres along the Rudolf-Renner-Straße, turn left into the Pennricher Straße for 300 metres, and then turn right into the Burgkstraße where the hotel is 300 metres ahead. |
