The pension is run by Elze-Jan Hoek and Heleen van Baalen who come originally from the Netherlands and fell in love with the beautiful landscape of Austria when on holidays. The owners speak English, German and Dutch. |

Nearly all room are en suite and have a balcony. They are comfortable and equipped with all common facilities. All rooms are non smoking rooms. |

Guests can also book half-board with a daily changing 3-course dinner. Childrens menus are also available. On request it is possible to prepare your own lunch. |

The vicinity of Jungholz is well worth visiting. You can hike for days in the forests and in the mountains, or through tradional Bavarian and Tyrolean villages with their traditional architecture. Interesting cities and sights within easy reach include Munich, Innsbruck, Pfronten, Kempten and Füssen, the castles of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof, and the Residence in Kempten. |

By car or motorbike: - Follow the A7 till exit Oy-Mittelberg - Follow the direction of Wertag/Oberjoch. After 15 minutes you will see the exit to Jungholz By train: We will be pleased to pick you up from the railway station of Kempten or Oy-Mittelberg By plane: You can fly to the airport of Memmingerberg, Stuttgart or Munich. |

The characteristic, family-run Pension Katharina is a bed and breakfast in a cosy and convenient location in Jungholz, close to the hiking, biking and skiing areas. Jungholz is 20 minutes from famous Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig of Bavaria. The bed and breakfast is ideal for short holiday breaks or just for one-night stops on your way to the south or north of Europe. It is not necessary to have an Austrian toll sticker (Vignette) to reach Jungholz. Jungholz offers you plenty of possibilities for active relaxation, including Nordic walking, mountain biking, motorcycle tours, hiking, golf and swimming. Inside the building you will find a sauna/solarium to help you relax, and a pedicure lady is available to pamper your feet after a great day of hiking. A small library and a play room with DVD player, play station and other toys are also available. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
