All of our rooms are modern, with a high level of comfort. All rooms have flat screen TVs and free Astra satellite channels. All beds have a comfortable height of 55 cm. Some double rooms have adjustable beds, so that you can change it to a twin room. If you would like this, please let the hotel know in advance. Every room is decorated in a different colour, based on flowered herbs. Our rooms are non-smoking. |

From Gasthof zur Post you can start hiking trips through the Alps (Karawanken). This part of Austria is known for its wonderful mountains and beautiful lakes. You can cycle along the river Drau for more than 120 km. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, sailing, cycling or playing tennis. For the more adventurous there is Parachuting or gliding. In winter the most popular sports are Cross country skiing, skiing, ice skating or ice climbing. The Wörther Lake is only 15km away. The craftsmanship of the rifle makers of Ferlach enjoy worldwide recognition. The manual skills of the rifle makers have been built up over hundreds of years to an excellent standard. |

Gasthof Hotel Zur Post is a family-run hotel near Ferlach, 14 km south of Klagenfurt), at the foot of the Karawanken mountains. Here you can enjoy a healthy environment with clean air and pleasant scenery surrounding the house. It is also a great starting point for hiking and biking tours. Ferlach is the southernmost city in Carinthia, with many beautiful lakes in the surrounding area that are ideal for swimming or other water sports. The apartments are 100 metres away from the main building. |
