The family-run Gasthof zur Post is in the centre of Ossiach and is only 5 min walking distance from Ossiachs adventure beach (100 m water slide, beach volleyball court and childrens playground). Within 30 km there are a number ski resorts - the nearest is the Gerlitzen with 40 km ski-slopes. There is a free ski bus shuttle.
