		The city of Dresden, located between the Saxonian Switzerland and the city of Meißen, is world-famous for its unique historical monuments and the diversity of art and culture. Only a 3-minute walk from the hotel you will reach the Baroque Quarter, Innere Neustadt. Here you will find a variety of restaurants offering international cuisine and traditional food from Saxony.

		Travel information
		If you arrive by train, get off at the station DD-Neustadt. From here, it is only a 5-minute walk to the hotel (follow Antonstraße towards Marienbrücke). From the airport you can take the S-Bahn (city rail) to the station DD-Neustadt (travel time: approx. 15 minutes). From the main station in Dresden you can take the tram line numbers 11, 9 or 6 in direction Dresden Neustadt and get off at Antonstraße / Leipziger Straße. The stop is directly in front of the hotel.

		This family-run guest house is located in the city centre of Dresden close to the Elbe river and within walking distance of all of the city’s most famous sights. The Gästehaus Stadt Metz offers elegantly furnished rooms, apartments and suites. Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building. Free wireless internet can be accessed throughout the guest house. In the immediate vicinity of the Gästehaus Stadt Metz you find the Königstraße with its attractive restaurants, cafés and fashionable boutiques. All historic sights, such as the Japanese Palace, the Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera House or the Zwinger Palace, are within 20-minute walk from the guest house. Free parking spaces are available to guests in the inner courtyard.
