The following are directly outside the Grand Hotel: bus stops, boat trips on the lake, boat hire, funicular to Monte Brè and scenic walks. Driving Directions: The Grand Hotel Villa Castagnola is 2km from the railway station, 4km from the motorway (A2 exit), 8km from Lugano Agno airport, 60km from Milan’s Malpensa International Airport and 220km from Zurich Airport. On the motorway, take the Lugano Sud exit and follow signs to Gandria/St. Moritz, which takes you along the lake road. The Grand Hotel is located approximately 500m after the river, on the left-hand side, in a large park. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 3 to 12 years are charged CHF 60.00 per night for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged CHF 120.00 per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. CHF 3.15 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 10.00 per hour. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
