How to reach Schloss Wartensee by car: Travelling from St. Gallen: * Motorway A1 Exit No. 84: Kreuzlingen/Arbon/Rorschach * Take Exit No. 3: Rorschach/Mörschwil/Tübach/Goldach * Take the right lane going towards Rorschach * Straight ahead at roundabout - direction Rorschach/Goldach * Turn right at the first traffic light in the direction of Untereggen/Bahnhof (train station) * At the next roundabout again veer right * After railway crossing turn left on large roundabout towards Rorschacherberg * Stay on the main road driving through Rorschacherberg until the sport and recreation facility (approximately 4kms) * Turn right uphill towards Heiden/Wartensee * Turn left at signpost to Thal/Wartensee * Parking is directly beside the castle Travelling from St. Margrethen: * Motorway A1 Exit No. 85: Rorschach/Rheineck * Turn right towards Rorschach/Altenrhein * Straight ahead at the round about - direction Rorschach towards Staad * At the Renault Garage turn left uphill towards the railway crossing direction Buechen/Thal * Travel through Buechen towards Thal * At the highest point of the road turn right to Wartensee * Parking is directly beside the castle |

The castle Wartensee has 33 rooms with a total of 60 beds. All rooms have shower / toilet, radio and telephone. We have no public restaurant, no bar, no TV on the rooms. We offer a place away from noisy tourism. | |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
