THE HIRSCHPARK Created by the Godeffroy family more than 200 years ago, this park is one of Hamburgs finest. The beautiful centuries-old trees are worth seeing, as is Lindenallee, the stately home and the game reserve with its fallow deer and reindeer. You will find this idyllic parkland just a 3-minute walk from the guest house, between the River Elbe and Elbchaussee lake. BLANKENESE Blankenese began as a small fishing village. Over the decades, it has become Hamburgs most attractive district and is a popular destination for those wishing to discover the citys beautiful surroundings. Along the banks of the Elbe you will find numerous pretty footpaths, and the district itself is worth taking a stroll through. For relaxation, you can make yourself comfortable in one of the many cafés with a view of the river, and gaze at the ships as they pass by. |
