The Parkhotel’s restaurant has recently been completely redesigned and renovated. Guests can enjoy a gourmet cuisine, recently awarded with 14 points by Gault-Millau, using only the fresh produce of the local markets. The restaurant also has a cosy bar where guests can have a drink before eating or sip a refreshing beer after a long day. On sunny afternoons, coffee, afternoon tea and cakes are served in the park adjoining the hotel. In summer, dinner on the terrace can provide an unforgettable view of the snow-topped peaks of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. |

By Car: - From the highway A1 Zurich/Bern or Geneva/Bern, take the A8 highway in Bern in the direction of Interlaken and turn off at the Thun-Nord exit. - Follow the directions to Thun city centre and then the road along the lake towards Gunten and Interlaken. - Oberhofen is the third village after Thun. - From here follow the signs directing you to the Parkhotel. - A free car park is available for hotel guests. By Public Transport: There are daily Intercity and TGV trains from surrounding countries to Bern, where you have to change to a train going to Thun – Interlaken. Within Switzerland there are hourly train services to Thun. A free shuttle service to the Parkhotel is available to its guests. |
