In the Gewölberestaurant with its arched ceiling, you will be served delicious rustic and international cuisine. The bar/restaurant Torwache (gate watchman) features décor typical of the Ore Mountains region and offers simple, traditional dishes. The Schlosscafé offers speciality coffees, home-made cakes and pastries, and a variety of ice creams. The Schlosscafé terrace invites you to enjoy a picturesque view of the castle. |

The hotel is found on the property of Wasserschloss Klaffenbach, an attractive manor house built in the 16th century. Alongside the hotel, you will also find a range of other attractions located on the property of the manor house. These include a museum, a silver smith, artist’s studios, as well as exhibitions, concerts and events. Directly next to the hotel is an 18-hole golf course and only 200 metres away, you will find riding stables. Enjoy the Wasserschlosses Klaffenbach’s park either on foot, or take out one the hotel’s rental bikes. Younger guests can look forward to the adventure playground. Within a 50-kilometre radius, you will find a range of castles and palaces, as well as the historic town of Annaberg-Buchholz, with its late Gothic-style churches, the Ore Mountains museum and Old Town. The toy-manufacturing town of Seiffen is also approximately 50 kilometres away, with demonstration workshops, a toy museum and an open air museum. It is worth taking a day trip to the beautiful city of Dresden, which lies just 70 kilometres away. |
