Pontresina is a typical Engadine village. It is embedded in dense woods of larch and stone pine trees. Pontresina is 1777 metres to 1860 metres above sea level. While Pontresina is a trendy and open-minded place, it continues to maintain its tradition and cultural roots. Theres a choice of beautiful old Engadine houses, exciting pubs and restaurants, as well as interesting cultural events. |

By Car: Pontresina is located in the Upper Engadine, in the middle of the triangle formed by Zurich, Milan and Munich. You can easily reach your holiday destination using the the good road networks. By Public Transport: You travel as far as Chur with the SBB (Schweizerischen Bundesbahn – Swiss National Railways). From Chur you continue on the fast, modern trains of the RhB (Rhätische Bahn). To make your journey by train more comfortable, make use of the Fly-Rail-Baggage service. The journey from Zürich to Pontresina takes about 3.5 hours. |
