Arriving by car: - Take the A 95 motorway (Munich-Garmisch Partenkirchen) OR - Take the B2 (Munich-Garmisch Partenkirchen) OR - Take the B23 (Augsburg-Garmisch Partenkirchen) - Take the new bypass - Take the exit towards Grainau - Fernpass - Reutte - Continue past Marienplatz (McDonalds, Pizza Hut) and go straight ahead onto Zugspitzstraße - Continue straight ahead until you see the Aral and Esso petrols stations on the right-hand side - Continue straight ahead (until you see a Sparkassen bank on your right) - You should now see a signpost for Gästehaus Hofer on the left-hand side of the street Arriving by train: Direct routes are available as follows: IC 119 Karwendel (daily) Münster - Gelsenkirchen - Essen - Duisburg - Düsseldorf - Köln - Bonn - Koblenz - Mainz - Mannheim - Heidelberg - Stuttgart - Ulm - IC 813 Wetterstein (daily) Berlin - Leipzig - Halle - Naumburg - Jena - Saalfeld - Bamberg - Nürnberg ICE 1085 Carl Spitzweg (on Saturdays) - Hamburg - Hannover - Göttingen - Kassel - Fulda - Würzburg Non-direct routes: - ICE-, IC-/EC- and interregional trains from all directions are available, most operating every hour or every 2 hours, to Munichs main train station - From there regional services travel every hour to Garmisch-Partenkirchen - From Garmisch-Partenkirchen station take a taxi directly to Gästehaus Andres Hofer OR - Take the bus to stop Fichtackerstraße - From there walk for approx. 3 minutes towards Marienplatz, where you will see a signpost for Gästehaus Hofer after 20 metres. |

The Gästehaus Andreas Hofer in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a family run establishment in the wonderful region of Werdenfelser Land. Despite the guesthouses very peaceful location, it takes just a few minutes to reach the city centre, cable cars, and numerous lakes and wildlife areas. The nearby bus stop provides links to the bus and train networks, and ample parking is available right in front of the guesthouse. |

In our single and double rooms breakfast is included. For guests of our cottage and apartments breakfast is avaiable on request and for an extra fee. If you want to take your children with you please contact the guest house directly. Please note, we do not accept credit cards - only cash payment on arrival. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. All children under 9 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding. Extra beds are not available. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 2.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
