Due to its great location, it is a popular centre of attraction for famous guests and an ideal starting point for excursions to Castle Neu Schwanstein, Castle Linderhof, the city centre of Munich or Innsbruck, as well as the Tyrolean and Bavarian Alps. The Garmisch-Partenkirchen ski resorts are also nearby, as are the mountain railways to the Alpspitze and the Zugspitze. |
