Due to our close proximity to the forest, within just a 5 minute walk you can go hiking through the Biosphärenreservat Naturpark Pfälzer Wald or cycling through the numerous bike paths. The area offers cultural attractions too, such as museums, churches and abbeys all located close by. We are near to the Pfälzer Jakobsweg for which you can book general packages at the hotel. Furthermore you will have easy access to Flughafen Zweibrücken (airport), the Universität Kaiserslautern, the Frauenhofer Institut, Fritz Walter Station and the Air-base Ramstein. There is also easy access to the motorway. |

In this quiet location at the fringe of the Palatinate Forest, we have a popular, free breakfast, an open-air beer garden and comfortable accommodation in Germany’s first stork hotel. In our 40-year family-run establishment, we take care of ill and injured storks and also to give home to the Weißstorch (white stork). You are invited to feel as welcome as our storks and to enjoy their sound. We have bikes for hire which you can ride through the forest or take one of the many hiking trails. We’ll provide a packed lunch for your day of adventure. At the end of a long day, our cosy restaurant serves warm, regional cuisine with fresh local produce. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. One child under 2 years is charged EUR 10.00 per night and person in a baby cot. One older child or adult is charged EUR 15.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included.
