The 2 1/2 Piece Apartments The apartments have a separate bedroom with two beds, a spacious living room with two fold down beds, a table with chairs in an alcove, cable-TV, radio, telephone, sitting area with sofa (the sofa can be made into a fifth bed), fully equipped kitchen (including micro-wave and coffee perculator), an elegant bathroom (bathtub, shower, WC, hairdryer) and balcony or terrace to the south side. The Studios The studios have one big living/bedroom with two beds, a sitting area with sofa (the sofa can be made into a 3rd bed), table with chairs, cable-TV, radio, telephone, fully equipped kitchen (including micro-wave and coffee perculator), an elegant bathroom (bathtub, shower, WC and hairdryer) and balcony or terrace to the south side. |

Guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner at the Hotel Astoria (10 minutes walk from Haus La Perle). Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00 and dinner (only on request) from 19:00 to 20:30. | |

From the main station and the Gornergratbahn, as well as from the Sunnegga Express the House La Perle is five minutes walk away. Round the corner there is a bus stop to the Little-Matterhorn cable car. Opposite the Sunnegga-Express and next to the main station you will find sports shops, with a wide offer of sports equipment for summer and winter, for rent or sale. Next to the main station you can find a shopping centre with a supermarket (Coop) among other shops. |

Zermatt is situated in the canton Wallis, in the south of Switzerland, west of the Gotthard mountain range. The village is located at the end of the Nikolai valley, 45 km from Brig (valley of the Rhone). Distance from the nearest airports: Access by train: Zürich-airport: 380 km - 5 hours by train (direct trains to and from Brig) Geneva-airport: 280 km - 4 hours by train (direct trains to and from Visp) Milano: 200 km - 3 hours by train (direct trains to and from Brig) From Brig/Visp you reach Zermatt with the cog-wheel train (BVZ), the slowest express train in the world through a breath-taking landscape full of extremes. To Zermatt by car: - To Täsch (6 km from Zermatt), that is where the public road ends. - The road Täsch to Zermatt is only open to holders of a special permit issued by the state police. - In Täsch you board the shuttle train which runs between 06:00 and 23:30 every 20 minutes (approximately CHF 7 per person one way). The Zermatt railways has trolley for you to use with a deposit of CHF 5 with which you can transport your luggage straight from your car onto the train and to Zermatt, without having to carry it around. You can park your car either on the public car park next to the station at Täsch or with one of the private taxi companies or their underground car parks. From Täsch you can also take a taxi to Zermatt (taxi stand at the entrance to the village). For one way and up to 6 people: CHF 30 - (rates subject to change) The hotel offers you a pick-up service from Zermatt train station (CHF 2.50 per person each way to house La Perle and CHF 4.00 per person). Please call the hotel upon arrival in Zermatt. (Please note that this service is not available in the evenings.) |

If you have booked only 1 night you will be charged only CHF 40,-- instead of CHF 80,-- . Final cleaning charge (Studios): CHF 50,-- in addition to the amount of the total stay. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 45 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One further child from 1 to 18 years is charged CHF 30.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.
