The bedrooms are simply furnished and equipped with shower and toilet. All superior rooms include a balcony with a beautiful view of the impressive mountain scenery. For an additional cost you can enjoy one of our totally new rooms, decorated in Choco-vanilla and lemon-lime colours. They are stylish, very quiet double rooms with bathroom (shower and toilet), flat screen TV and balcony with view to the Wetterhorn. Located in a large chalet on an alp overlooking Grindelwald, it has spectacular views to the Eiger mountain range and is ideal for walking, biking and skiing, as the path literally passes the hotel. We have a bright breakfast room, sunny garden with badminton court and BBQ facility, chill-out room with a breathtaking view, bar, a media centre (TV, free internet corner and WLAN throughout the whole house), a totally new in-house sauna and ample car parking. Pets are welcome. Just in front of the Hotel Lauberhorn is the bus-stop which brings you to the First Station in 3 minutes or to the train station for Kl. Scheidegg in 5 minutes (ski bus in winter is free of charge). During the high season in winter the night-bus runs until 23:00. |

All rooms are with shower/toilet. The regular rooms have a south facing balcony and beautiful view of the Eiger-northwall and the surrounding mountains. The Cheap rooms are north facing and without balcony. Extra beds can only be placed in the regular double rooms (not possible in the Cheap double rooms). |

During winter season, every Saturday we cook home made cheese fondue and on new years eve we organize Fondue Chinoise (meat fondue) as much as you can eat for CHF 65 per person. Half board is optional and is served at Hotel Eiger daily from 18:00 to 20:15. The cost for half board (3 course set menu) is CHF 25 per person per day. Please note, guests need to leave the table by 20:20 at the latest. At the Hotel Lauberhorn daily home made soup and other snacks are served every evening. Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 09:30. |

The hotel is located on the sunny side of the Grindelwald valley in complete tranquillity, about 15 minutes walk downhill to the village (train station Bäreplatz) or 5 minutes by bus which stops right outside the hotel (ski bus during winter season is free of charge). You will have a spectacular view of the Eiger mountain range and it is ideal for walking, biking and skiing as the path literally passes the hotel. We have a big car park in front of the hotel (free of charge for hotel guests) and in summer you are very welcome to relax in our nice garden with sun chairs or have a drink at our wooden table. |

The closest larger City is Bern.. Strart on the motorway direction Thun/Interlaken. Get off at motorway exit signposted Interlaken/Grindelwald. Take the mountain road signposted Grindelwald. On arrival in Grindelwald continue up through the village on the main street. Spot the Church on the right side of the street and your doing okay, continue left for 500m and the Hotel Lauberhorn is on the left hand side. |

Our biker/paraglider and winter sport friendly hotel is located on the sunny side of the Grindelwald valley with a beautiful view of the impressive mountain scenery with the Eiger northwall. Beni (owner) is a fully certified Paraglider and ski instructor from Grindelwald and we are both passionate Mountain Bikers and carvers. During the winter season we cook home made cheese fondue every Saturday in the Hotel Lauberhorn. Every Thursday is ski guiding with Beni (Lauberhorn downhill race to Wengen). Just in front of the hotel we have a Ski bus stop which can be used free of charge during the winter season. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first three nights will be charged.
