It is a socialhistorically interesting Fact, that the white cross has a Hotel tradition, which goes back demonstrably in the Middle Ages: The white cross is one of the oldest hotels in Lucerne. The name White Cross was already mentioned in records of the year 1495 and since the early 17th century the location of the hotel is secured to the Furrengasse 19. |

The management offers free coffee & tea making facilities in every room. We offer 20 elegant design rooms and one suite with total 49 beds. In February 2007 all rooms have been completely refurbished. The rooms offer modern features and amenities, such as: Wooden floor, integrated color concept, mini bar, complementary coffee/tea set, flat screen TV with DVD, ceiling fan, room safe, radio/buzzer, free W-LAN access and private telephone line. We offer non-smoking rooms only. The hotel provides also family rooms up to 4 persons, eventually plus one toddler. Not only the rooms, but the whole building, is equipped with the last generation of fire and smoke detectors. |

Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM in our Restaurant. Recently the RISTORANTE/PIZZERIA (open from 11 AM to 11 PM) was elegantly redecorated enlarged. 125 comfortable seats are now available. Throughout summertime 20 seats at the romantic patio in the small alleyway complete our terrific facilities. Our elegantly redesigned non-smoking restaurant CHRÜZLI & LOUNGE offers 28 seats. The CHRÜZLI & LOUNGE can also be exclusively offered for groups and parties. |

Walk over the “Seebrücke”, the main bridge in front of the station (4 lanes), then turn left and follow the Reuss river until you reach the restaurant “Rathaus Brauerei”. From there it’s 10 feet to the hotel Zum Weissen Kreuz. The hotel is situated in the traffic-free zone of the historical old town of Lucerne. As a hotel guest you are entitled to drive into the traffic-free zone at any time but just for check-in and –out. You have the choice of three ways to find the hotel: Through Kapellplatz of the lakeside, coming from Ebikon or Küssnacht, then follow the brown hotel-signs. Passing the city police station coming from the highway. Cross the “Schnyderbrücke” and follow the brown hotelsigns. Drive through the historical tower, called “Nölliturm” and follow the Reuss river up the square, called “Mühleplatz”. Then again, follow the brown hotel-signs. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. CHF 2.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
