The traditional, historical hotel, immediately at entrance to the old town of Chur and only five minutes from the railway station, has been managed with loving care for detail by the Schällibaum family (now in the third generation) since 1911. Their goal is to satisfy every wish of their guests providing a home from home during their holiday stay. The hotel, which has existed since 1793, is a living part of Churs history. The restaurant Weinstube, for example, was once a way station for the post. The large Drei König-Saal has something to boast about being, at various times, part of a monastery and parliament buildings. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in public areas and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
