In order to prepare our regional and seasonal menus we only use fresh products from regional countrymen and breeders. We particularly recommend fresh trouts from the breeder on the opposite side of the hotel that are lovingly prepared in many different ways. Friends of plain fare will enjoy the dishes served at our restaurant. During summer time we also serve our self-made “Schwarzwalderkirschtorte”, a traditional tarte of our region, on our sunny terrace. |

The hotel is an ideal starting point for many trips. It is conveniently located for short trips to Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Strasbourg or and Stuttgart. You can also easily reach the idyllic small towns of the Black Forest, with their half timbered houses. |

By Car: - From Stuttgart, take the A81 motorway towards Singen and exit Horb onto the B28a towards Freudenstadt. - Drive via Freudenstadt towards Bad Rippoldsau - Schapbach / Wolfach Kniebis or Zwieselberg for about 14 km. - In Bad Rippoldsau drive towards Schapbach or take the A5 motorway Karlsruhe - Basel, exit Appenweier via Oberkirch, Oppenau and Bad Peterstal. - In the city centre of Bad Peterstal, turn right at the church towards Schapbach / Wolfach. - In Wildschapbach, turn left after the crossing at the saw mill and drive for about 6 km towards Bad Rippoldsau. |
