By train: arrive at Hamburg-Dammtor station. Most long-distance express trains and all ICEs stop there. From here, it is just a 6-minute walk – but if you have heavy luggage, you will have no problem finding a taxi. By plane: at Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport take a taxi. The journey takes roughly 25 minutes and the fare is approx. € 29. Alternatively you can take the Jasper Airport-Shuttle bus service. Then take a taxi from Hamburg central station (Hamburg Hbf). Or you may prefer to rent a car from one of the car-hire agencies. A useful tip: ask the car-hire agent for a (free) street map. By car: use one of our route guides. We have put together a route map and detailed directions from each of the main motorway interchanges around Hamburg. These can be downloaded as pdf files and printed out. |
