For generations the Fuhrmann Family has been managing the Fuhrmann-Burg vineyard in Ellenz-Poltersdorf, a small wine-producing town upstream of Cochem. The wine merchant Franz-Peter Fuhrmann and his son Markus produce mainly Riesling, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder grapes here. Wine lovers will appreciate the regular wine-tasting sessions which take place. | |

The tradtional Hotel Hieronimi, situated on the banks of the Moselle in Cochem-Cond, was built 200 years ago. In 2001 it underwent extensive renovation, and was refurbished with great attention to detail. The historical ambience of the building has been preserved and supplemented by modern comforts. Today the hotel offers 30 beds in attractive guest rooms which offer an extraordinary atmosphere. |
