Our hotelier, Hans-Jörg Bandschu, prepares fresh cuisine all year round and is known far beyond the Tauber country. His wife, Uschi, carefully and efficiently runs the service in a newly refurbished restaurant. In summer you can enjoy your meal in the lush green garden restaurant where pavilions and parasols provide shade. Our restaurant and event facilities have been recently renovated in order to create an open and airy ambience, and they offer the ideal venue for a romantic evening for two, a gathering with friends or a meeting with clients. |

The hotel’s location is ideal: on the fringe of the historic part of the town, quiet and in close proximity to the palace grounds. A vibrant pedestrian zone with attractive shops and lively cafés awaits you nearby. Blooming meadows and sun-kissed vineyards along the river Tauber, and various art and cultural treasures promise an eventful stay. We are only 500 metres from the Liebliches Taubertal cycle path and have easy access to paths in both directions along the river Tauber. The town of Bad Mergentheim is located in the middle of the Taubertal Valley. Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Wertheim both lie at a distance of approximately 50 km. |

Frankfurt Main airport is 120 km away, Stuttgart airport is 100 km. The train station in Bad Mergentheim is only 1 km from here. By car: Coming via the A7 from Hannover/Fulda: - Leave the A7 before Wurzburg in Estenfeld. - Stay on the B19 in the direction of Schwäbisch Hall until Bad Mergentheim. - At the 1st traffic lights after the sign turn left into Milchlingstraße. - After approximately 250 metres you will reach the hotel. Coming via the A7 from Ulm/Munich: - At the Kreuz Feuchtwangen interchange, take the A6 until the exit towards Crailsheim. - Via the B290 you will reach Bad Mergentheim. Watch out for signs towards Rothenburg or Wurzburg. - After the petrol station, take the 2nd right into Milchlingstraße. - After approximately 250 metres you will reach the hotel. Tip: If you leave the A7 at Rothenburg you can experience a beautiful (but longer) journey through the Tauber Valley. Coming via the A3 from Frankfurt/Nuremberg: - Travel until Wurzburg/Heidingsfeld. - Take the B19 in the direction of Schwäbisch Hall until Bad Mergentheim. - At the 1st traffic lights after the sign turn left into Milchlingstraße. - After approximately 250 metres you will reach the hotel. Coming via the A81 from Stuttgart/Heilbronn: - Leave the A81 in Boxberg. - Travelling via B292 you will reach Bad Mergentheim. - Watch out for the signs towards Rothenburg or Würzburg. - After the petrol station take the 2nd right into Milchlingstraße. - After approximately 250 metres you will reach the hotel. |

All of the towns attractions are within comfortable walking distance and parking spaces are available right beside the hotel. In our newly refurbished restaurant, the hotel manager himself sees to the wellbeing of our guests. During the summer you can dine in our attractive leafy garden. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 24 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
