| This skyscraper from 1981 is almost 100m high and was built within 2.5 years. It was opened as Hotel Merkur and renamed Hotel Intercontinental in 1993. Since 2003 it has been part of the Starwood Gruppe under the name The Westin Leipzig. An extensive renovation in 2005 brought a fresh and brand new design to this building. Our facilities include 33 conference rooms with 1400 m² in total including a ballroom dance floor of 606 m². The Boardroom on 27th floor offers even more space for meetings, conferences and functions. All conference rooms offer sophisticated technical equipment, wireless LAN, air conditioning and daylight. |
