There are 74 rooms spread over 7 floors. This hostel is the most modern and largest MEININGER house in Berlin with 364 beds. All rooms have modern furnishing. A special highlight is the rooftop terrace with a phenomenal view over Berlin’s rooftops. Rooms are available starting at 3 pm on the date of arrival, although you may check-in prior to that. Our free luggage room is available for storing luggage in the meantime. |

The closest U-bahn stations are U1/U7 Möckernbrücke and U1/U6 Hallesches Tor: both just 2 minutes walk away. From the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station): - Take bus M41 toward Sonnenallee/Baumschulenstrasse (16 minute ride). - Get off at the Willy-Brandt-Haus and walk in the same direction as the bus was going. Take a right at the next intersection. - Follow the street for 50 metres and you will find our hostel. - Our Tempelhofer Ufer hostel is directly on the other side of the street. - A taxi ride will cost around EUR 7. From Tegel Airport (TXL): - Take bus X9 or 109 towards Zoologischer Garten. - Get off at the stop Jakob-Kaiser-Platz. - Take the U-bahn line U7 toward Rudow and get off at the stop Möckernbrücke. (17 minute journey) - Leave the U-bahn station via the exit Hallesches Ufer/Tempelhofer Ufer, take a right and cross the street Am Halleschen Ufer. - Follow the street, walking in the opposite direction to the traffic to the next intersection and cross Grossbeerenstrasse. - After about 100 metres you will see our hostel’s entrance - A taxi will cost around EUR 25. From Schönefeld Airport (SXF): - Take bus X7 or 171 towards Hermannplatz and get off at the stop Rudow. - Take U-bahn line U7 toward Rathaus Spandau and get off at the stop Möckernbrücke. (24 minute journey) - Leave the U-bahn station via the exit Hallesches Ufer/Tempelhofer Ufer, take a left and cross the street called Am Halleschen Ufer. - Follow the street, walking in the opposite direction to the traffic as far as the next intersection and cross Grossbeerenstrasse. - After around 100 metres you will see the entrance to our hostel. - A taxi will cost around EUR 25. |

Located between Potsdamer Platz and the coveted Bergmann district in Kreuzberg/mitte, our hostel is the perfect location for your stay in Berlin. You’ll be able to visit such highlights as the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie or the Wall Museum in just a few minutes’ walk. Get the day started with our complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and explore both east and west Berlin! In the summer, our rooftop terrace can’t be topped. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.
