The Voltaire restaurant is situated in the same building. It is open 24 hours a day and offers traditional German, international and vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant boasts very competitively priced snacks and lunchtime meals, including beverages. Watch the towns hustle and bustle from the street terrace, or absorb the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel courtyard with its soothing plants and Mediterranean terrace. On warm summer evenings, it is an ideal setting for candlelit dinners. Breakfast is served in the Voltaire restaurant. Situated in a side street near Berlin’s famous Kurfürstendamm boulevard, it is also very close to the International Congress Centre and trade fair complex. Numerous shops await you in the adjacent Wilmersdorfer Straße shopping district. The Savigny Platz square with its trendy restaurants and eateries is just 1 S-Bahn (city rail) stop away. You can easily walk to the Stuttgarter Platz square which hosts many restaurants offering mainly Italian or Spanish cuisine. The hotel is situated in the Charlottenburg district, one of former West Berlin’s oldest parts of town. You can walk to the Charlottenburg palace in about 25 minutes. As you make your way across the Kiez (neighbourhood), you can discover its typical buildings, small shops, pubs and bars - and its typical inhabitants! The hotel boasts excellent public transport connections. The Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) is 5 S-Bahn (city rail) stops away. Turn again left behind the railway bridge into Stuttgarter Platz. Stop at number 14 at the right. - Hannover/Leipzig A2/A9: At intersection Drewitz take the highway A115 (AVUS) follow direction Berlin-Zentrum. Enter the urban motorway A100 (Stadtautobahn), follow to exit Kurfuerstendamm and continue for 2,5 km until Adenauerplatz. Turn left into Lewisham Strasse. Turn again left behind the railway bridge into Stuttgarter Platz. Stop at number 14 at the right. - from Dresden A13: At intersection Schönefeld take the highway A10. You have to get off at station Charlottenburg. The hotel is just in front ! ARRIVAL by PLANE - from Tegel airport (TXL) take the bus line 109 - and only this one ! - and get off after 15 min. at Stuttgarter Platz / BHF Charlottenburg - from Schönefeld airport (SXF) take the city express train to railway station Zoologischer Garten. From Zoologischer Garten you can take all S-Bahns in direction: Potsdam, Spandau, Grunewald, Wannsee. You have to get off at station Charlottenburg. The hotel is just in front ! |
