The furniture made of solid oak or of wood painted in pastel shades stands out against the terra cotta flooring. The white and yellow whitewashed walls reflect the traditional Souleiado fabrics which as a whole creates a warm ambiance. Nestled within the Bandol vineyard, with the Mediterranean Sea in the background, Dolce Frégate is an elegant **** resort which has remained faithful to the architecture of Provencal villages. Its hotel, comprised of 133 rooms and suites, warmly decorated in Provencal fabrics, offers unequalled comfort and a magnificent view of the sea in the background. The green of the 18th hole completes the panorama. It is true that the 2 golf courses (18 and 9 holes), designed by the American architect Ronald Fream, have greatly contributed to the renown of Dolce Frégate. Three large tiered swimming pools, each extended by a large teak olarium, fall onto the water planes which surround the fairway of the 18th hole whereas a covered heated swimming pool, two saunas, a Jacuzzi, as well as a fitness centre and a beauty salon complete the Dolce Frégate relaxation offering. Tennis may also be played, as well as hiking or even some tasting of the Domaine de Frégate wine regularly awarded for its rosé and white versions. |
