We are an ideal holiday base for touring the beautiful regions of County Clare, the Aran Island and Connemara. We offer luxuries and comfort that you would expect from a modern hotel, whilst the only sounds you are likely to hear may a bird or a cow calling her calf. You can enjoy the games room, which has a free pool table, and we hold a traditional Irish music session in the lobby area about twice a week. All rooms are non-smoking and attractively designed with rich colour schemes, and all range from a generous 35 m² to 45 m² in size. There are some great views to be seen and the private bathrooms are also large. | |

Breakfast is served from 08:30 to 10:00 in our beautiful dining room. We open with cereal, porridge or yoghurt, followed by a full Irish breakfast, with a selection of scrambled egg and omelette dishes. If you would like a cold option, we also offer cheese and fresh fruit platters. | |

We are situated just outside Ballyvaughan, between Aillwee Cave and the Burren College of Art. The Burren is a glaciated carboniferous limestone landscape which has fascinating geological features wherever you look. It is full of caves, turloughs, underground rivers, enormous erratics, and all sorts of geological wonders. Most significantly, it has some of the finest limestone pavement in the world. Ballyvaughan is the natural capital of this amazing region. Galway Bay is to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and a line joins Doolin, Kilfenora, Gort and Kinvara in the county of Galway. To further complement your visit to the Burren, our guest house is only 35 minutes away from the famous 600-foot high Cliffs of Moher, which tower over the Aran Islands. At Ballyvaughan, you can witness all these magic features and see for yourself the wonderful sights that you can wake up to in the morning. |

As a large, spacious bed and breakfast in the Burren Hills, we offer great rooms and food, coupled with peace, quiet and a warm family welcome in a rural environment. We are situated right in the middle of the Burren region, which is a mountainous terrain in North Clare, famous for its flowers, rocks and scenery. The fascinating coastline looks out on Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. The accommodation at Cappabhaile House is unique, with fantastic views of the Burren Hills. Here, you can enjoy the calm of the countryside. We have built our accommodation on our own 12-acre site, where you can mingle amongst the cattle and take a stroll at your leisure. Your hosts Margaret and Conor will be happy to help plan your activities in the area with walks, hill climbs, archaeological or botany information. Please note that we close our guest-house during the Christmas Holidays & the month of January and are open for bookings from February 02 2009. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
