Coming from Oporto or Lisbon by the motorway A1, enter the A25 in direction Vilar Formoso, Spain. At the exit nr. 12 go in direction Oliveira de Frades till the centre of this village. S. Cristóvão de Lafões Monastery was founded in the 12th cent, and rebuilt in its present form in the ends of XVII cent. Today the Mosteiro is a Rural Tourism (since 2004) . Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children from 4 to 12 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 13 to 16 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
