By Car: - Take the A1 and follow the signs for Coimbra Sul. - Once in Coimbra, follow the signs indicating the Estrada da Beira (N 17) or Lousa. - Cross the bridge over the Mondego River and drive 14 km until you see a sign indicating the direction of Lousa. - Turn right and continue until you reach Foz de Arouce where you will cross over a Roman bridge which passes over the Ceira River. - Continue for 3.5 km and after passing Povoa da Lousa, you will see a blue sign indicating the direction of the Quintal de Alem do Ribeiro. - Turn left and follow the remaining signs. Framed by a wooded valley and cultivated land, this house is circled by the relaxing whisper of the wind in the trees and the soft murmur of the Ceira River. With a rustic but modern character, the charming house displays artefacts dating back to the mid 18th century and the Napoleonic invasions. Comfortable, thematic rooms are full of traditional furniture and a fitting decor. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
