You can hire a boat and ghillie from the hotel and go fishing on the loch. The hire costs include 4 to 8 hours’ fishing, all equipment, rod hire and a packed lunch. CairnGorm Mountain is one hour from the hotel and is home to the UKs highest mountain railway, a mountain exhibition, a shop and a restaurant. Urquhart Castle is magnificently situated on the banks of Loch Ness. The ruins date from the 13th century. There are 30 golf courses for all standards within one hour’s drive of the hotel. Ullapool can be reached in an hour’s drive and the Isle of Skye can be reached in a 90-minute drive. |
